Orbit is a small-group, real-time video journaling app. This page explains what information Orbit collects, how it's used, and how you can control it.
We do not collect your location, browsing history, or any advertising identifier, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs of any kind.
We use the information above solely to operate Orbit's core features: compiling your orbit's daily video, showing you your friends' clips, delivering notifications, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your clips, captions, and reactions are visible only to the other members of the same orbit — never to the public or to people outside that orbit. Your profile is visible to friends you've connected with on Orbit.
Orbit is built on Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Firebase Authentication), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. Data is protected using Firebase's standard encryption in transit and at rest.
You can decline or revoke any of these permissions in your device Settings; declining a permission may limit the related feature.
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below — we'll process your request within 30 days.
Orbit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
